George’s has always been a name synonymous with great fish and chips, but its new owners in Nottingham wanted to bring a fresh twist to the traditional chippie and launch a new chain of restaurants that would showcase the very best in Great British food.

Keeping its fish and chip shop heritage close to its heart, we helped George’s to create a new brand identity that would be quirky but quintessentially British in its style. Using fun illustrations and a playful strapline and logo design, George’s retained its homely feel but now with a sophisticated edge.

George’s has gone on to launch three more restaurants in Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle and has been awarded the International Restaurant & Bar Design Award for its flagship Nottingham site.
